Instead of pushing through emergency legislation to re-Nationalise essential utility services, such as Electricity, Gas, Water and Telecom services, ...incompetent UK government is selling off most of what's left of our electricity utility service to the FRENCH !
Quit simply, THIS IS TREASON.
As Tony Benn said, "When you privatize something, it makes it more expensive."
It simply beggars belief that after 18 years worth of gross mismanagement at the hands of the Tories between '79 and '97, privatization is still being pursued by this Labour government.
The already dreadful and worsening difficulty for ordinary people, in meeting fuel and other utility costs, not to mention adequately heating their homes this coming winter, is simply intolerable. The recently announced millions of pounds for home insulation is WOEFULLY INADEQUATE, VASTLY TOO LITTLE, and FAR TOO LATE !
